Overview
A full loop of the Moroccan south that takes in both of the country’s great dune fields: Erg Chebbi at Merzouga, reached by road, and Erg Chegaga beyond M’hamid, reached off-piste.
Between them the route follows the Dades and Todra gorges, the fossil country around Alnif and Nekob, and the whole length of the Draa Valley, before returning west across Lake Iriki to Foum Zguid.
