Overview
The shortest desert route from Marrakech. Zagora lies at the southern end of the Draa Valley and its dunes are modest compared with Chegaga or Erg Chebbi, but it is the only option that fits a single overnight.
The day crosses the High Atlas, stops at Ait Ben Haddou and follows the palm valley south; the night is spent in a camp reached by camel.
