Overview
The four-day version of the Erg Chegaga route adds a night in Ouarzazate and a slower passage through the Draa Valley, which means the kasbahs and the oasis villages are visited rather than passed.
The itinerary crosses the High Atlas by Telouet and the Ounila Valley, spends a night at the desert gate near M’hamid, a night at the great dunes of Chegaga, and returns west across Lake Iriki to Foum Zguid.
