2 Days Mount Toubkal Ascent Trek

An early transfer of about an hour and a half from Marrakech through the Moulay Brahim gorge to Imlil at 1,740 m, where you meet the guide.

The path climbs through terraced fields and walnut groves, past the village of Aremd and the shrine of Sidi Chamharouch at around 2,500 m, and reaches the refuge in the late afternoon. Roughly 11 km and 1,460 m of ascent in five to six hours. Dinner and night in the refuge dormitory.

A start around five in the morning for the climb to the summit, three to four hours over scree and rock, with panoramic views from the top over the Haouz plain to the north and the Anti-Atlas and the desert horizon to the south.

The descent returns past the refuge and Sidi Chamharouch to Imlil, some 13 km and 2,430 m of descent, eight to nine hours in total. Transfer back to Marrakech in the evening.
