Overview
Rather than climbing Toubkal and turning straight back, this circuit walks around the massif: up the Azzaden valley, over a series of passes above 3,000 m, to the refuge and the summit, and down through Imlil.
Six days give proper acclimatisation before the summit day, which is the main reason the ascent succeeds more often on this route than on the two-day version.
