Overview
Jbel Saghro lies between the High Atlas and the Draa Valley: a volcanic range of black spires, dry gorges and abandoned villages, walked with mules and a cook, and crossed in the season when the high mountains are still under snow.
The route runs from Nekob north to Tagdilt, camping each night, and passes the encampments of Ait Atta families who still move with their herds.
