Draa Valley and Kasbahs Day Tour from Zagora

A morning start south of Zagora to Tamegroute, where the potters still fire the green-glazed ware in underground kilns, and where the old Quranic library holds a collection of manuscripts.

A short distance further are the dunes of Tinfou, an isolated patch of sand at the edge of the palm belt.

In the afternoon the route works back north along the valley, stopping at kasbahs and fortified villages between Zagora and Agdz, with the palm grove on both sides of the road. Return to Zagora in the late afternoon.
