Overview
Agafay is not sand but stone desert: a landscape of bare grey hills about thirty kilometres from Marrakech, with the High Atlas as a backdrop.
Because it is so close to the city it works as a late afternoon and evening trip, with a camel or quad ride, sunset from a ridge and dinner at a camp, returning the same night.
